“A match ID is digits only”
Enter the match's numeric ID in the replay viewer. The field accepts up to twelve digits. A profile URL, a saved replay link, or a file name will fail this check. If you already have the demo file, choose it or drop it on the viewer instead.
“No replay URL is known”
ReplayDojo asks the Deadlock API salts endpoint for the match's replay address. This message means the lookup returned no demo_url. It does not tell us whether Valve still stores the file.
If the match just ended, try the ID again later. If you downloaded its .dem in the game, open that file here. A match already saved on ReplayDojo has its own page and can be watched without looking up Valve's URL again.
“Match lookup failed” or “Replay download failed”
A lookup error means the API request failed. A download error means the viewer found an address but could not get a complete file. Retry once. If the same step fails again, use a demo file you have saved locally. The viewer also rejects a partial download rather than treating it as a full match.
“Parse stopped”
At this point the browser received a file but could not read it as a Deadlock demo. The viewer accepts plain .dem files and Valve's compressed .dem.bz2 or .zst downloads. If you downloaded the file yourself, check that it finished and try a fresh copy. A file from another game will not parse as Deadlock.
