Where to find your AoE2 recorded games
The file you need ends in .aoe2record. Find it on the computer where you played, then drop it into the analyzer.
Start with the savegame folder
On Windows, open File Explorer and look in Games → Age of Empires 2 DE → your Steam ID → savegame. A common path is C:\Users\<you>\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\<steam-id>\savegame.
Sort by date modified if you are looking for a recent match. Copy the recorded game file somewhere easy to reach; you can leave the original in place.
Check the file before uploading
The analyzer accepts .aoe2record files, as well as older .mgz and .mgx recordings. A recorded game is different from a screenshot or a saved game state. You need the match recording itself.
If the upload fails, try a different recorded game. Game updates and unusual recording formats can change what a parser can read.
What happens next
After upload, the site parses the command stream and opens a replay page. You can inspect the map and timeline, then ask the coach about decisions in that game.
